Natural Cleaning

Deodorizer
Lemon and baking soda spray:
Dissolve baking soda in 2 cups hot water, add lemon juice, pour into spray bottle, spray into air as air freshener.

Powdered Laundry Detergent & Fabric Softner

There are many recipes out there for homemade chemical free laundry detergent.
This is the one I use along with many other recipes for cleaning. It is really amazing and cleans very well. My whites came so clean it took the permanent marker out of the white tees my husband wears. (When they are too short he marks them with a permanent marker to know not to wear those to work.)

Laundry Detergent Powder form:
3 cups of Borax
3 cups of Washing soda
(1) 8 oz bar of Fels Naptha, Zote, Castile Soap

I put the bar of soap in my food processer, once it was grated, then I added the rest of ingredients. If your food processor is not big enough to hold all of it. I took one of my tupperware containers and added the ingredients. Seal it with lid very well and shake it together. You children could probably do this.

Use 1 tbsp for a reg. load and 2 tbsp for heavy dirty loads.

Fabric Softner

1 gallon of Vinegar
about 40 drops of your favorite essential oil

I buy the gallon of Vingar open it up and add the oil. Shake it a little when you are going to use.

For the Fabric Softner use, add  1/4 cup to the rinse cycle.

Really nice outcome.

The Laundry Detergent comes out to about 2.15 for about 48 loads which is 0.45 per load. Depending on how much your ingredients are.

I use a lot of natural cleaners, so if you are interested or need advice on what to clean. Please,  contact me and I can possibly help you.

Sink/Toilet Cleaner and Deodorzier all in one.
I always keep a gallon of vinegar around with essential oil in it. My favorite right now is Baby Powder. Put about 2 tablespoons in the gallon and shake everytime you use it.

For a quick clean and added deoderizer. Take about 1/4 cup of baking soda and pour it in your toilet then about 1/3 of vinegar and let it sit overnight. In the morning just go clean it with your brush and flush. You don't have to let it sit so long if you just want to do it every morning. It is a great cleaner and deodorizer.

You can do the same to the sink, just let it sit and in the morning wipe it with a cloth or napkin and it is clean and smells clean.

Natural Deodorizer in the Bathroom

For those times the bathroom is not smelling so fresh...On the inside of the toilet paper cardboard roll put several dabs of essential oil. Once the roll is being twirled the scent will come out. You can find essential oils at health stores, some grocery stores and Walmart.
